Police have released further CCTV footage of a man they are keen to speak to in connection with the missing handbag and shoes of a woman who was killed in a road traffic collision last week. Sarwari Ashraf, aged 62, from the Longsight area, was killed crossing Upper Brook Street, near to its junction with Hathersage Avenue on Thursday 29 March 2012 at around 9.50am. The handbag is described as black with a short strap and gold clasp, 10cm by 10cm. It has two compartments with a zip inside. The bag contains Sarwari's house keys, personal papers, her disabled badge, cash card and mobile phone. Detective Inspector Greg Elliott from Longsight CID, said, "The CCTV footage shows a man walking into the road, he picks up Sarwari's missing shoes and handbag and runs away. "The CCTV footage is very clear, if you know this man or know the whereabouts of the handbag, please contact the police as soon as possible."
